IED Group is seeking a full-time, on-site Quality Inspector / AOI Operator to perform manual visual and microscope inspection of printed circuit board assemblies to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards across receiving, in-process, and final stages while operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment — loading boards, running inspection programs, and reviewing machine-flagged results to distinguish true defects from false calls — as well as documenting and dispositioning nonconforming material through NCRs, interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs, and maintaining the AOI system in a clean, calibrated, ESD-safe condition, a role requiring 2+ years of electronics inspection experience, hands-on AOI operation and results-interpretation skill, working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards (CIS certification preferred), strong visual acuity for sustained work under magnification, solid documentation habits and sharp attention to detail, a high school diploma or equivalent, and eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR.
